Our commitment

A website for everyone.

Permian Media wants everyone to be able to use permianmedia.com, including people who use screen readers, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or zoomed-in screens.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are still working toward that goal, and we keep improving the site.

What we have done

What we have done.

Every page has a "Skip to content" link that keyboard users can reach first.

Pages use clear header, navigation, main content and footer areas, one main heading, and the correct language setting for English and Spanish pages.

Images have text descriptions, or are marked as decorative so screen readers skip them.

Contact form fields have visible labels, and the form announces its status to screen readers.

Menu buttons tell screen readers whether they are open or closed, and the menu respects your device setting for reduced motion.

Links and controls in the header, links within page text, video controls and form fields show a visible highlight when you reach them with a keyboard.

Videos play only when you choose to start them.

The site is available in English and Spanish.

How we checked

How we checked.

On October 27, 2026, we ran Google Lighthouse's automated accessibility check, which uses the axe-core testing engine, on the home page, the contact page, the video production page and these three policy pages. Scores ranged from 88 to 93 out of 100. The issues it found are listed under What still needs work.

Automated tools cannot find every problem, so we also welcome reports from the people who use the site.

Known limitations

What still needs work.

Our videos do not have captions or transcripts yet.

This Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Accessibility Statement are available in English only.

Some small colored labels and notes do not have enough contrast against the light backgrounds.

On phones, the quick call and project buttons at the bottom of the screen can be reached with a keyboard while they are hidden from screen readers.

On phones, the small dots that switch between featured projects on the home page are smaller than recommended for touch.

The logo link at the top of each page uses a screen reader name that does not include all of its visible words.

Websites we link to are run by others and may not be fully accessible.
